For those of you that don’t know, my main business for all my freelance graphic design work is run through WOOM Creative since 2006 to which I’ve run a separate website to this one.
Over the past few months it’s been increasingly more difficult to keep two website on the go and keep them updated. Slowly, I’m going to migrate the two websites so I have one website to update.
Another reason for the migration is the amount of time spent advertising through social networking sites. With the amount of sites available, it’s important to have a presence and as covered in previous articles, building relationships through these mediums is important to me. For instance, I use Facebook and Twitter daily as well as having a presence on LinkedIn. Currently I’m looking into other areas with Google+ being high on that list.
Nothing changes. It just helps me, a lone graphic designer, concentrate on one website so my time can be directed elsewhere.
